The Return to Normal or the New Normal

August 13, 2022 by Jide Ajayi • Life • Tags: life, People •

The Covid 19 era came and moved and saw and…left.
The world has changed since then; the things we took for granted in the old world are now things that are so hard to get. The travels and the visits and visas and things you could schedule your time so you could program your application and visit are no longer as they used to be due to some of the agents yet to go back to their pre-covid routine or having no such plan. There is also the small issue of inflation worldwide, the effect of the Ukraine-Russia war since February, and all the things that have affected.
Despite it all, we are here to chart a way forward, encourage the younger generations, and grow from the experience.
Hence the return. See you soon!

Happy New Year 2022

January 10, 2022 by Jide Ajayi • Life, New Year, Productivity •

Happy New Year everyone!
I did not release the fireworks on new year day over here at the blog.
Neither did I pour the celebratory drinks for seeing the new year but in the spirit of as long as it is still January, we are free to say happy new year.

So last year was all over the place with COVID and everything else. Also in the last year, there were issues I had to resolve pertaining to the website and almost need to rebuild it from the scratch due to issues surrounding post from my blog app as well as the impact of plug-ins and much more on the site.

Right now, things look a bit better and the posting of this blog is a way to put that in motion.

Last year was good, goal this year is consistency in posting and in writing and in researching.

We shall see how it will go at the end.

Today is the 61st independence anniversary of the Nigerian nation. There are many things to say about the nation.

Everything you can say about a nation can be said about this one in every area and aspect of the civil life and with superlatives in positive and negative nouns.

The Lord knows every nation and more importantly his own people in every nation.

He will continue to order things in the place where his people are found.

This is another opportunity to say Thank you Lord for your loving kindness to your people and your steadfast love that never fails.

Happy Independence day to all Nigerians

Last Day of 2020

December 31, 2020 by Jide Ajayi • Life, New Year, Thoughts • Tags: new year •

This year 2020, is a year that started with a lot of hope and plan and desire.
Many people saw it as a year of completion and clarity, and elevation to a new level of the current status.
Then mid-way through March, things started to change. The world started taking the information about the issue in China seriously as Italy began to report uncomfortable numbers of people dying from the virus.
The numbers are still grim. There is a reported second wave and a new strain, which is not new but a version from another part of the world that is now new as far as the country reporting it is concerned.

Then a few weeks ago, Pfizer and Moderna released their vaccines, and these came with many concerns from the safety, to motive, to policies and plans the people are not sure whether it is in their interest or not. As of today, they currently are being administered in about 26 countries
Now the final day of the year has come. It allows looking back at the year that has affected us all in different ways in the area of work, work schedule, loss of jobs, family, health, child care, and relationships, church, worship, fellowship, and societal interactions and then the recoveries, disabilities, and death that has come in this period.

May the Lord continue to shower his love on us all and continue to order things by his mercy and grace providentially.

May things be good for us all in the new year!

Happy New Year in advance
