This is interesting

Yesterday, news around the world announced that Manchester United manager Reuben Amorim had been sacked, with the announcement coming the morning after the draw with Leeds United at Elland Road.

The club, of course, has released a public announcement that Darren Fletcher will take over as interim head coach.

Looking back to the sack of Eric Ten Hag and the appointment of Reuben, the cycle of excitement around the new manager and the condemnation of the old manager repeated itself. I wondered then how soon this would return, and here we are now.

I wish Reuben well on the next assignment and lots of prayers for the person who will take on the role next, as this is a high-reward, high-risk role. If for nothing else, Reuben is not a poor man after this exercise, so on to the next permanent coach.
